Netlon Advanced Turf rootzone is healthier than ordinary turf because of its self-cultivating action. When compressed by impact, the mesh elements flex, creating and maintaining voids along the length of the mesh filaments. Interconnected voids help maintain the supply of oxygen, vent waste gases and allow water to pass rapidly through the rootzone.

Netlon Advanced Turf surfaces withstand heavy vehicles and frequent impact. 

Turf systems reinforced with Netlon mesh have been shown to distribute wheel loads more efficiently by improving bearing capacity and reducing deformation of a sand rootzone. 

The infiltration rate and soil moisture retention characteristics also improve the soil's ability to establish and maintain green dense grass.

The Secret of Netlon Advanced Turf lies in its ability to reinforce a turf rootzone. Small pieces of polypropylene mesh, about the size of playing cards, blend with a selected growing medium to form a stabilized rootzone.

As grass roots develop from seed, they intertwine with the mesh to create a deep, anchored root system.

The mesh elements, specially manufactured by Netlon Limited, are made from polypropylene, selected for its durability and flexural stiffness. Polypropylene is non-toxic, insoluble, non-absorbent and inert to chemicals likely to be found in a turf rootzone. The surface is not hard but is stable, and the mesh elements are not dangerous to people or animals.
